Open the PDFAI app and tap the camera icon. Point your camera at any document - the app will automatically detect the edges and straighten the image. Tap the shutter button to capture. PDFAI will remove shadows, enhance quality, and extract text using OCR. All processing happens on your device, even offline.

Documents are stored locally on your device for maximum privacy and offline access. No documents are uploaded to cloud servers for processing - all OCR and scanning happens on-device. You can optionally enable iCloud sync in settings to access your documents across all your Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro).
Yes! PDFAI includes digital signature support. You can draw your signature once with your finger or Apple Pencil, and it will be saved for reuse. Just open any PDF, tap the annotation tools, select signature, and place it anywhere on the document. Your signature is stored securely on your device only.
